Are you a HERO? Heroes are military, active and retired, teachers, nurses, doctors, all healthcare workers, firefighters, EMT's, firefighters, and police/peace officers.
The program is called Homes For Heroes and it is brand new in Erie, PA. Mary Huffman is your local Homes For Heroes Realtor. This is a nationwide program that started in 2011 after the tragic events of September 11th.
For home buyers, Mary Huffman will give 25% of her gross commission to the buyer to use towards their closing costs. For home sellers, Mary will reduce her listing side commission by 25%. In addition, Mary will also donate 5% of her gross commission to the Homes For Heroes Foundation once the property has closed.
For home buyers, not only will they get a rebate from Mary Huffman but they will also get a discount on lending services by Lake Erie Mortgage and the Megan Marsh team and an attorney discount from Attorney Michael Nelson of Marsh Spaeder Law Firm. Mary is also working on getting additional "Friends of Heroes" to join on for more discounts for our Heroes.
